Rutherford put not asunder what God joined together. A deep theology and a deep heart. So often both garner factions wittingly or not against eachother, and sadly to their own detriment. Oh for more men of God in seminaries and pulpits who excell in both. The results would be manifold: God would be gloified, saints edified, and the rise of enthusiasts nullified.
